Very nice painting, but if I can suggest something the back of his head is a little smaller than it should be. Unless that was your intention of course. :)

In some of your paintings have very good concepts, but I think they need more development in the graphic sense, more technical, enhance colors and practice more the Cross-hatching. I think this way (take the concept of the hand and in the same level) your work would have more impact than they already have, (THINK IN THIS!).

I say this because here in DA I see many jobs with excellent technique, but they are so busy that they forget the most important thing in the image: The concept, as the melody is so essential in a song, or the screenplay in a film. Well then in your work sometimes happens just the opposite.

But maybe I was wrong and what you do is something merely deliberate in every way?

I'm a sucker for intense colors, and a neutral base. Maybe or maybe not would have liked to see the paper toned a bit more. Hahaha
