Everyone thinks she was kidnapped, raped and disgraced. Nobody thinks she could be the one who didn't want to lay down beneath that stinky Robert Baratheon. Why did a girl, that frankly speaking, had a character of a wolf (a tough warriour, actually) died like that. A very pretty mystery, that actually might not be solved.
YUSSSSSS. this is perfect, because i can see this as an adult prettified arya and i can also see her as a woman so captivating a war was fought for her. the jon snow theory is interesting... we shall see, i guess
I don't feel that Ned would ever cheat on his wife, so I agree. I haven't read the books yet, only seen the show; why haven't they touched on this more???! I'm really interested in this Lyanna S. x Rhaegar T. theory...
I'm believing the theory that she's Jon's mother as well. I doubt Ned would do such a thing considering how honorable he is and it'd make sense for him to say it was his baby and not Rhaegars. Robert would have killed Jon. ._.
A-MAZING! I love the story of Lyanna and Rhaegar. I think you've perfectly captured the essence of their story in her expression, that thoughtful, lingering, almost regretful look on her face. And the white rose... wasn't she crowned the Queen of Love and Beauty by Rhaegar with a garland of white roses?
well, if you think about it when ned recalls lyanna dying with a pool of blood on her bed (i think?) the blood could have easily been caused by complications of childbirth (excessive bleeding, etc). just a thought.
my personal theory is that the lyanna/rhaegar thing is misdirection and that jon is actually a Dayne, potentially the new Sword of the Morning, and the "lightbringer" as melisandre puts it. the signs are there
HAH!I'M NOT ALONE! Ned isn't that kind of man, who cheats on his wife. And there is a lot of hint in the book. I mean when Ned thinks about Lyanna saying 'Promise me'. Promise her what?! .. Anyway, your drawing is really nice. It's just awesome! *_*
