I really love your girls! They don't all look the same, with different hair color either. What I love so much is that their faces really look different- they look like different people, which they should. They're also just so beautiful, and it amazes me what people can do with watercolors. This one in particular is gorgeous, she reminds me of Liv Tyler a little bit in the face (but prettier!). Thanks for sharing your work! I'm re-reading the series right now, and I love to take breaks and pop over here to DVart and see others' interpretations of these characters.
My favorite of all your works. Arianne is absolutely the most beautiful woman in the entire Game of thrones series, and this work only goes to enhance her already radiant beauty. Well done! You are indeed an astounding artist!!!
As beautiful as she should be, but it's a pity that you didn't used skincolour. I know from viewing the other paintings that you always use the paperground as the skincolour but the Martells should have a tanned skin . A tanned skin would make this piece overwhelmingly georgous.
I think it's lovely the way it is even if it's different from how Martin described her!Truly beautiful! (but if you'll ever draw a new version of her and are in need of a model of reference with olive skin, dark eyes and dark locks I'll be glad to propose myself eheheh I love Arianne even if I've read only one chapter about her, and I think to look a lot like her physically and as concerns personality! I actually think I'll cosplay her sometime soon!)
I never imagined Arianne with dark skin...but yes with olive skin. But if i had been drawn the olive skin it was out from my style and ASOIAF girls... But yeah, i will draw a second version od Arianne!
She's supposed to be "beautiful, with olive skin, large dark eyes, and hair that is a spill of glossy black ringlets." Haha, I guess "lily white" is what Martin meant when he said "Olive." And I guess "pale" is what he meant by "dark" in refrence to her eyes. Or you really fucked up the coloring, what with the ridiculous amount of whitewashing going on here. Good job.
These are absolutely beautiful! If you do end up doing a new version keep in mind that since her mother is from Norvos, Arianne (as described in the book) could look part black. (Also Taena and Elia would look more ethnic as well though closer to Indian or Arabic.) Still a wonderful body of work you have here!
Beautiful! She's very pretty, but also looks seductive with the over-the-shoulder view, and a hint of cunning in her eyes = Arianne. Very good. I saw further down that you weren't overly convinced, and yes it's not quite what I imagine about Arianne, but it's still very good.
I absolutely adore you for all those beautiful ASOIAF women. I really love your style, and many of your drawings look almost exactly as I imagined the characters reading the book. And Arianne's picture may not be my favourite of them, but it's still really good .
